She was an elementary school teacher for 30 years, and taught at the Stone Coral Elementary School before retiring in 1956.<br />She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Stanley Stevenson, two grandchildren, Janet Rae Stevenson and Joanne Lee Stevenson, all of San Diego, and a sister, Mrs. Fred Bear of Orange Grove.<br />Officiating at the services will be Rev. Robert B. Martin of the Baptist Church of Dinuba. She attended local schools, graduating from Visalia Union High School in 1935.<br />She had worked in the Tulare County Purchasing Department for 43 years until retiring in 1980. She married Richard W. Pollock in 1952 in Las Vegas, Nev.<br />Mrs. Pollock was a member of the Visalia Business and Professional Womens Club, the Tulare County Retired Employees Association and the Sequoia and Diamond Walnut Growers.<br />In addition to her husband, she is survived by one brother, Harry W. Brown of Woodland; and one sister, Mary Thornbury of Visalia.<br />Burial will be in Visalia Cemetery. Mineral King Ave. home after a long illness.<br />Mr. Brown attended Visalia schools, served as a volunteer fireman many years and played on local baseball teams in Visalia’s early years.<br />He also was known for his knowledge of grafting, budding and pruning practices on citrus trees.<br />Mr. Brown married Hazel Dailey in Visalia in 1909. Dailey Pioneer Resident of County, Passes<br />George W. Dailey, 87, a pioneer resident of Tulare county, died Saturday night at his ranch home near Visalia after a short illness. Dailey was stricken with a stroke 10 days ago and later he developed pneumonia.<br />A native of New York, Dailey was born on June 24, 1851. It was in 1864 that he came to California with his parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. P.C. Dailey, settling in Sacramento. Dailey attended the Sacramento schools and moved to Visalia in 1868. He was married to Mary A. Bacon in Visalia 65 years ago.<br />Dailey had lived on the same ranch for the past 64 years. He was a member of the Woodmen of the World.<br />Funeral services will be held at the Hadley chapel Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock, with Rev. J. Earl Vandagriff officiating. Interment will take place in the family plot at the Visalia cemetery beside his wife who died in January,1937.<br />He is survived by two son, John C. Feb 1 -<br />Funeral services for Mrs. Mary D. Dailey, 79, wife of George W. Dailey of this city, who died yesterday, will be held Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock in the Hadley Funeral Parlors with Rev. Earl Vandegriff officiating.<br />Surviving her are her husband; two sons, John Dailey of Porterville and Harry Dailey of Visalia; four daughters, Mrs. Robert Tucker, Mrs. Walter Brown, and Mrs. Chester Huntley of Visalia and Mrs. Norman Schultz of Delano, and three sisters, Mr. L.D. Mathewson of Visalia, A.J. Teague of Exeter and Mrs. G.B. Ralph of Oakdale.<br />Mrs. Dailey crossed the plains at the age of 2 years with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Bacon, and settled at Sacramento. Two years later the family moved to Visalia, where she had lived for seventy-six years. She was married in 1875 to George W.
