Harry and Inez (Thomas) Dailey

Harry Dailey, son of George W. and Mary A. (Bacon) Dailey, born 19 July 1888 in Visalia, California and died 24 February 1975 in Visalia, California. Married Inez Augusta Thomas in 1916 in Dinuba, California.

Harry Dailey
Harry Dailey, 86, life-long resident of Visalia, died Monday in a Visalia hospital.
Mr. Dailey, who farmed east of Visalia on a farm started by his father, retired in 1961.
He was born in Visalia, attended schools here and married the former Inez Thomas in 1916 in Dinuba.
Mr. Dailey is survived by his widow, Inez Dailey of Visalia; two sons, Vern Dailey of Visalia and Merle Dailey of Garberville; three sisters, Iris Huntley and Hazel Brown, both of Visalia, and Blanche Massey of Morro Bay; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Visalia Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hadley Funeral Chapel until 1 p.m. tomorrow.


Inez Augusta (Thomas) Dailey, born 20 July 1898 in Visalia, California and died 19 January 1990 in Visalia, California. Married Harry Dailey in 1916 in Dinuba, California.

Inez A. (Thomas) Dailey, 91, of Visalia, died Friday of respiratory arrest at a Visalia hospital.
She was born, raised and educated in Visalia. Inez married Harry Dailey in Dinuba in 1916. They farmed on the east side of Visalia until Harry retired in 1961. He died in 1975. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church.
Survivors are a son, Merle Dailey of Garberville; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services are 3 p.m. Monday at Visalia District Cemetery under the direction of Hadley Funeral Chapel.
