Lois Brown Pollock

Lois Brown Pollock, daughter of Walter C. and Hazel (Dailey) Brown, born 18 November 1916 in Visalia, California and died 2 July 1984 in Visalia, California. Married Richard W. Pollock in 1952 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Miller Memorial Chapel for native Visalian Lois Brown Pollock, 67, who died Monday in a local hospital.
She was a daughter of native Visalians Walter and Hazel Brown. She attended local schools, graduating from Visalia Union High School in 1935.
She had worked in the Tulare County Purchasing Department for 43 years until retiring in 1980. She married Richard W. Pollock in 1952 in Las Vegas, Nev.
Mrs. Pollock was a member of the Visalia Business and Professional Womens Club, the Tulare County Retired Employees Association and the Sequoia and Diamond Walnut Growers.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one brother, Harry W. Brown of Woodland; and one sister, Mary Thornbury of Visalia.
Burial will be in Visalia Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the chapel.
